If I'm being completely honest, I have very little idea about what I'm doing.
All of my projects, while human-led and directed, are not made by me. They were coded with AI, and though I lead them creatively, I did little to nothing when it came to writing the code. Even the READMEs of my projects were AI-written, edited and looked over by a human. This one, though, is really me, don't worry.
Or should you?
Nah, I'm just joking.
I have several projects, none of which I actively plan to maintain, but they all fall under the umbrella of the Navi Suite.
The name is derived from the splendid project Navidrome (you should check it out), but please note that I have no affiliation with them, I do not use any of their code, and if we're being honest, Navidrome is far better than any of my projects.
- NaviPlayer Pro: This is the best media player I have. It's not the best, and probably isn't by a mile and a half, but I tried.
- Navidrome Lite NaviPlayer Hub Edition: This is a mish-mash of Navidrome Lite and NaviPlayer. NaviPlayer Pro is the refined and rebuilt version of this.
- Navidrome Lite: This is the music-specific part of the player. This was refined in NaviPlayer Pro.
- NaviPlayer: This is the video-centric part of the player. Far more refined by a longshot in NaviPlayer Pro.
- NaviWriter Pro Max: This is my most well-developed project, alongside NaviPlayer Pro. It's a novelist writer—think Reedsy and Scrivener smashed together at three hundred miles per hour.
- Comfort Browser: This is a very rudimentary tool that's intended to provide you the tools your browser doesn't have in a 'convenient' way. Thus the Comfort in the title. However, it doesn't work the best and there are some bugs. I might start working on it again, though.
And yeah, that's it!
Again, don't expect active maintenance for any of this stuff—I'm just here to put out ideas that I think would be lovely if someone else were to develop them. Not me though. I couldn't tell you the intricacies of half of these things.
Now here's some other stuff I know you're going to skip past but I'll try anyway:
- I used Copilot Deep Thinking for most of my projects. NaviPlayer Pro, V13 and after, was orchestrated by Claude Opus.
- Feel free to fork! If any of these concepts catch your eye, grab the code, tear it apart, and build something better with it. You could do more with it than I can anyway. Additionally, if you spot any bugs, feel free to submit a pull request—I'll take the help where I can get it.
Thank you for taking the time to read this!
