How do I make it so that sections are always under each other, and you don't end up with multiple next to each other?

I have sections within sections, and I want them to appear:

A
 AA
 AB
B
 BA
 BB

Instead I'm getting

A
 AA AB
B
 BA BB

How do I force the sections to appear under each other rather than it squeezing them up together?
